Matthew Rooney (Sydney) joined KKR in 2022 and is a member of Global Client Solutions, where he is focused on building investor relationships across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Rooney was head of bank & insurance distribution at Pendal Group (formally BT Investment Management). He previously worked in the emerging markets debt team at Lazard Asset Management (New York) and at Fidelity Investments in Boston and Sydney. He received a Bachelor and Masters of Commerce from Macquarie University and has completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designations.
