Luping Liu

Luping Liu (Tokyo) joined KKR in 2015 and is a Director on the Human Capital team where she focuses on supporting the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Liu was a vice president (executive director) at Goldman Sachs in human capital management group covering the global investment research division and securities division, as well as serving as the human resources regional manager for the Taiwan branch. Prior to Goldman Sachs, she was the head of recruitment at UBS Japan, managing both lateral and campus recruiting efforts across the UBS group. Ms. Liu holds a B.A. from Xi'an International Studies University, China, an M.A. from National Hirosaki University and a Ph.D. from National Niigata University, Japan. She also serves as adjunct professor at Xi'an International Studies University.
