Julia Kosygina

Julia Kosygina (New York) joined KKR in 2021 and is a member of the Global Public Affairs team. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Kosygina held senior communications and media relations roles at Citadel, a hedge fund firm and Citadel Securities, a global market maker. Most recently, she served as head of media relations for Citadel Securities, managing all global external communications for the firm. Prior to joining Citadel, Ms. Kosygina held roles at a number of leading public relations firms, including Edelman and Abernathy MacGregor, where she represented hedge fund, private equity and long-only firms, including AQR Capital Management, Hellman & Friedman and TIAA-CREF Asset Management (Now Nuveen). Ms. Kosygina holds a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
