Johnnie Stein

Johnnie Stein (London) joined KKR in 2023 and is a Principal in the firm’s Credit business, focused on Private Credit. Mr. Stein is a member of the Asset-Based Finance investment team, focusing on financial services, specialty finance, and opportunistic investments across the capital structure. He is involved in the firm’s investments across a number of different asset classes, including auto-finance, consumer finance, commercial lending and receivables financing. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Stein was a member of the asset-based finance team at HPS Investment Partners, and prior to that, was a director at Cabot Square Capital, a mid-market PE investor focused on financial services. Mr. Stein holds an MA in History for Edinburgh University and is a qualified solicitor.
