Jan Baumgart
Managing Director, Head of Germany Real Estate
Jan Baumgart (Frankfurt) joined KKR in 2019 as Head of Real Estate in Germany. He has been responsible for the firm's investment in the residential platform Velero and currently serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Mr. Baumgart was previously a managing director at PATRIZIA Alternative Investments. He started his career at Fortress Investment Group and AlixPartners. Mr. Baumgart studied mechanical engineering and economics in Hannover, Los Angeles and Zurich and earned a joint Master‘s degree at Leibniz University of Hannover.
