David Bauer

David Bauer (New York) joined KKR in 2019 and is a Managing Director and Head of the Global Equity Capital Markets business. Mr. Bauer's team helps lead the origination, structuring, and execution of equity in the public and private markets. The team focuses on transactions, including IPOs, sell-downs, private and pre-IPO placements, hybrid and structured solutions, derivatives, margin loans, and other related solutions for KKR and non-KKR owned companies. Before joining KKR, Mr. Bauer spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a managing director and the head of the Americas syndicate desk. Prior to that, Mr. Bauer worked as an industry M&A and capital markets banker. He holds a B.A. from Georgetown University.
