Christopher Jakovcic (New York) joined KKR in 2021 and is a Director on the Real Estate team, focusing on CMBS and acting as Portfolio Manager of commercial mortgage loans for the firm’s insurance platform. Previously, Mr. Jakovcic worked as an originator on the commercial real estate team at Global Atlantic. Prior to that, he was at Marathon Asset Management where he was responsible for underwriting and pricing CMBS bonds. Mr. Jakovcic begin his real estate career at CIBC where, during his tenure there, he worked on the underwriting, asset management, and loan structure teams. Mr. Jakovcic holds a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Manhattan College.
