Monica Mandelli
Monica Mandelli (New York) joined KKR in 2015 and is Head of Americas Ex-US within Global Client Solutions. In this role, she leads all KKR's capital formation activities and the client and partner business in the Latin American continent (both onshore and offshore), as well as in Canada, providing investment solutions to Institutional, Family Capital and Wealth clients across all asset classes. Previously she was Global Head of the High Net Worth Group. She is also a member of KKR’s Capital Markets Coordination Committee and Global Grants Investment Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Mandelli worked at Goldman Sachs for seventeen years in investment banking, where she held various leadership positions, most recently as managing director and global head of Goldman Sachs' family office coverage and strategic relationship management group. Previously, Ms. Mandelli was head of Goldman Sachs’ publishing and information services sector and the theatrical exhibition sector, within the technology, media and telecom group, having broad coverage responsibility for many media clients. She was also co-head of Goldman Sachs' firmwide women's network, leading strategic initiatives to enhance the career of >7,000 female executives at Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Mandelli worked at Merrill Lynch in London in their mergers and acquisitions group, and at McKinsey & Company in New York. Ms. Mandelli received a B.S. and an M.S., summa cum laude, in Economics and Social Sciences from Universita' Bocconi, and an M.B.A, with Distinction, from Harvard Business School. Ms. Mandellli is chair of the Board of the Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum Americas Foundation and member of the V&A international advisory board. She is also vice-chair of the Board of Endeavor Italy. In addition, she currently serves on the women's leadership board at the Harvard Kennedy School, the board of trustees of Horace Mann School, the Bocconi alumni board, and the Harvard Business School Club of New York board. In 2019, Ms. Mandelli was knighted by the President of Italy as “Cavaliere della Repubblica,” the highest honor bestowed by the Italian Republic.
