Lester Lim

Lester Lim (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2022 as the Head of Family Capital in Asia-Pacific. He focuses on building strategic partnerships and investments alongside leading family groups in the region. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Lim was the head of investor relations for FountainVest Partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai. He led the firm’s fundraising efforts for its flagship fund and co-investments from both institutional investors and family offices, and was part of the firm’s operating committee. Before that, he was a director in the alternative investments group of HSBC Private Bank in Hong Kong, where he led a team responsible for global private equity, hedge funds, credit and real estate fund and direct investments on behalf of Asian family groups and high net worth individuals. He was also a founding member of the Asia team for Pavilion Alternatives Group in Singapore, where he invested into private equity funds, secondaries, and co-investments for public pensions and sovereign entities. In that capacity, he served on the LPAC of several regional and country focused funds. Mr. Lim started his career in risk management at Maybank-Kim Eng Securities. He graduated with Honors from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Economics and Philosophy.
