Kate Shivnan

Kate Shivnan (New York) joined KKR in 2024 and is a member of the Global Finance Private Markets team. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Shivnan worked at EY, where she spent over 15 years in the audit practice serving private equity and hedge fund clients. She started at EY in Dublin in 2006 and moved to New York in 2012. In 2017, she moved into EY's risk management group, where she focused on compliance with regulations pertaining to auditor independence. Ms. Shivnan graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Political Science and minor in Irish Studies, and she holds a Master’s in Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin in International Peace Studies. Ms. Shivnan is an FCA (Chartered Accountants Ireland) and a CPA (NY).
