John M. Reed (New York) joined Global Atlantic Financial Group in 2024 and is Co-Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Reed also serves as Portfolio Manager of Liquid Assets and is a Partner at KKR. Prior to joining Global Atlantic Financial Group, Mr. Reed was Head of Global Credit Trading for KKR since 2008, and helped lead the Leveraged Credit business during that time. Mr. Reed was an associate director at Bear Stearns & Co. in their institutional fixed income department before joining KKR. Mr. Reed received a B.A. from the University of South Carolina and a Global Professional MBA from the Fordham University School of Business Administration.
