Emil Werr (New York) joined KKR in 2020 as Head of Data and Analytics for KKR. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Werr was with RBC Capital Markets, where he was head of data and senior member of RBC architecture steering team. Prior to RBC, Mr. Werr was head of data engineering for corporate & investment banking, and consumer & community banking with JPMorgan Chase. Before joining JPMorgan Chase in 2013, Mr. Werr was Chief Data Architect for New York Stock Exchange. Earlier in his career, Mr. Werr spent 15 years in various engineering and leadership roles with Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Solomon Brothers, Sony Corporation, and UPS. Mr. Werr has multiple software patents and is currently an active member of the private equity data governance council. He holds a B.S. degree in computer science from Montclair State University, studied electrical engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and has a software engineering certification from Chubb Institute.
