Derick Lam
Principal
Derick Lam (Shanghai) joined KKR in 2023 and is a Principal in the Portfolio Monitoring Unit within Global Operations. He primarily focuses on the firm’s portfolio companies in Asia. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Lam was a director at SoftBank, where he played a role in financial due diligence, portfolio management, and valuation activities. Mr. Lam holds a B.B.A. in Professional Accountancy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
