Partner, Head of Global Equity Capital Markets and Global Co-Investment and Partnerships
Craig Lee (New York) joined KKR in 2018. He is a Partner of KKR and heads the Global Equity Capital Markets and Global Co-Investment and Partnerships teams within KKR Capital Markets. Mr. Lee’s teams help lead the origination, structuring and execution of IPOs, other public market transactions, pre-IPO placements, private capital investments, co-investment partnerships, and other equity-related solutions for KKR and non-KKR companies, globally. Prior to this, Mr. Lee was Head of Insurance and Strategic Finance, leading KKR’s coverage of global insurance clients, development of insurance-focused products and solutions, and strategic activity in insurance, including the firm’s relationship with Global Atlantic Financial Group. Before joining KKR, he spent more than fourteen years in investment banking and equity capital markets at Goldman Sachs & Co., and prior to joining Goldman, Mr. Lee was a tax lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
